Subject: [PATCH QEMU HCI-8.1 v3 09/28] vfio/pci: Grow buffer in vfio_pci_host_match()
Date: Fri, 16 Oct 2026 18:26:07 +0300 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20261016-vfio_v1-v3-9-47487cb5a8e5@virtuozzo.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20261016-vfio_v1-v3-0-47487cb5a8e5@virtuozzo.com>
From: Akihiko Odaki <odaki@rsg.ci.i.u-tokyo.ac.jp>
Each field of PCIHostDeviceAddress is an unsigned int, therefore
while a valid address is limited to 13 characters, an invalid
address could exceed the specified format, up to:
ffffffff:ffffffff:ffffffff.ffffffff<NUL>
This requires 36 characters with the terminator.
