Subject: [PATCH QEMU HCI-8.1 v7 00/35] vfio: support qemu-update with passed through GPU's and vGPU's #VSTOR-103860
Date: Tue, 03 Nov 2026 15:57:15 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20261103-vfio_v1-v7-0-4467fdccbbe6@virtuozzo.com> (raw)

v6 -> v7:

Fixes of the issues found by Sashiko AI review.

- Patch 4 ("migration/cpr-exec: require a file or exec migration URI"):
  the message says the check covers the incoming URI too

- Patch 6 ("migration/cpr-exec: close the persisted state if the
  channel fails to open"): the fd is parsed before its variable is
  unset

- Patch 7 (NEW) ("migration/cpr-exec: don't leak the dup'd memfd if
  g_setenv() fails"): the dup was leaked on that path and a failed
  dup() went unchecked; the patches after it are renumbered

- Patch 32 -> 33 ("VZ: vfio/region: preserve BAR mappings across
  cpr-exec"): CPR.rst no longer says cpr-transfer preserves VFIO
  devices

- Patch 34 -> 35 ("VZ: vfio/migration: don't wait for stop-copy-only
  device state"): the message covers devices without pre-copy, which
  the rule applies to as well
